Asif proposes setting up 5 electronics hub in India

IMG_4432NEW DELHI, 30 July, 2020 - Aimed at discouraging China, the All India Minority Front (AIMF) has suggested the government to set up five Electronic Manufacturing Hubs across the country.

Party leader SM Asif said, “Setting up electronic hubs that come at a time the world is battling the coronavirus epidemic and halting global supply chains can attract  large investments in the country that includes manufacturing of LED lighting, LED TV, electronic parts of scooter and  cars and mobile segments.”

“The move can give an aggressive push to ensure big companies besides contract manufacturers bring their global supply chains to India and make India an electronics hub,” Mr Asif stated.

The AIMF president clarified that the proposal would not only neutralize cost disadvantages in manufacturing to a great extent but also generate thousands of jobs for the young electronic engineers in the country.

He said, “Our party is confident that the setting these hubs in Jhansi, Amravati, Baramati, Durg and Haryana’s Sohna will not only enable India to become the electronics manufacturing hub of the world but also provide a fillip to its ‘Make in India’ program.”
